On February 13, 2017, 13-year-old Abigail Williams and 14-year-old Liberty German were murdered while exploring Monon High Bridge over Deer Creek in Delphi, Indiana. It wouldn't be until 2022 that an arrest would be made in the case, and on November 11, 2024, Richard Matthew Allen was finally convicted of Abby and Libby's murders.
